FORM — Browser synth

FORM synthesizer interface: two wavetable oscillator panels and a filter section

An experiment in building a synthesizer that runs in the browser, made with AI assistance. It's playable, rough around the edges, and shared as-is.

Play FORM

What works

Two waveform-morphing oscillators, a sub oscillator, filters, a volume envelope, an LFO, and drive, delay, and reverb. Play from the on-screen keys, your computer keyboard, or a MIDI keyboard where your browser supports it. The audition button plays a short phrase, and edited sounds can be saved in the same browser.

What's unfinished

The sounds and presets are experiments, not a polished sound library. The engine has limited modulation, no dedicated filter or pitch envelopes, and simple effects. Browser and device testing is still limited. This is a learning project, not a finished production instrument.

Try it

Open FORM and click Audition, or play the keys. A–L plays notes on your computer keyboard, Z and X change the octave, and Escape releases the notes. Audio starts only after you interact with the instrument. Saved sounds stay in that browser; they aren't synced to an account.

Status

Development is paused while I explore other projects. This version stays available as a record of what I built and what I still have to learn.
